Anita has been a vital part of our laundry team for the past 12 years, bringing with her 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Dependable, knowledgeable, and always on time, Anita is a joy to be around, as noted by both her coworkers and residents. Her dedication to helping residents and forming meaningful connections makes her truly exceptional.
Born and raised in Painesville, Anita’s passion for working in healthcare stems from her desire to help others. She finds fulfillment in her role at Carington Park, especially in getting to know the residents.
“My favorite part of the job is my residents,” Anita shared, and it’s clear that they are her daily motivation.
When reflecting on her career, Anita describes it as
“fulfilling, beneficial, and demanding.” Her favorite memory at Carington Park involves a past resident who would sing gospel and Christmas songs with her and her coworkers, a heartwarming reminder of the special bonds created here.
Outside of work, Anita enjoys bowling, card games, movies, and volunteering for various causes. A former Sunday School teacher, she’s also an animal lover with two dogs and one cat at home. Her bucket list includes traveling to Hawaii, Frankenmuth, and Disney World—adventures we hope she gets to experience soon!
