Please join us in congratulating Marie Ritz Boyd, our July Employee of the Month at Carington Park! Marie has been a dedicated CNA for 24 years—all of which she’s proudly spent right here with us. Her unwavering commitment, strong work ethic, and compassion make her a shining example of what healthcare is all about.



Marie is known for her professionalism, empathy, and teamwork. Her coworkers describe her as dependable, friendly, and always willing to lend a hand. She leads with kindness and truly makes a difference in the lives of our residents and their families every single day.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Marie has brought her heart and spirit to our community. Her passion for caregiving started with a desire to build meaningful relationships and provide fulfilling, quality care. Her favorite part of the job? “Making a difference in my residents’ lives and having a positive impact on their families.”

Marie says her motivation every day is “seeing my work directly benefit the patient and knowing I am serving those in need.” It’s no surprise that her coworkers and residents alike describe her as dedicated, empathetic, and committed to delivering the best care.

In her free time, Marie enjoys gardening, shopping, and cooking. She’s the only girl in a family of seven siblings and is a proud pet mom to three cats (Sasha, Prismus, and Charliegh) and one dog (Chip). One of her favorite memories at Carington Park is prom night, which she fondly remembers as a special event filled with joy and connection.

Marie has big dreams too—traveling to Europe is high on her bucket list, and we hope that dream becomes a reality soon!
