May Employee of the Month
May 29, 2025
We are thrilled to recognize Hanna Carroll as our May Employee of the Month!
As both an Activities Aide and CNA, Hanna has quickly made a lasting impact during her seven months at our facility. Known for her kindness, compassion, and positive attitude, Hanna is always going above and beyond for both residents and coworkers. Whether she’s lending a hand, offering a listening ear, or finding ways to make each day a little brighter, Hanna embodies everything we value in a team member. Her dedication and genuine love for caregiving make her truly deserving of this recognition.
Hanna has been in healthcare for about nine years. She began her journey in the kitchen at just 15 years old and became a CNA by 18. She says she chose healthcare because it is a privilege—she gets to help residents, watch them smile, and be there for them during both joyful and difficult moments. Her favorite part of the job?
“Coming to work and making just about everything fun for them! I get to dry their tears on bad days, give hugs, and laugh with them. Getting the chance to really know them and the things they enjoy melts my heart.”
Her daily motivation is the thought of her residents waiting for her. She understands that not all residents have visitors or family nearby, and knowing her presence makes a difference is what drives her each day. She describes her career in three words: fun, rewarding, and enjoyable. One of her favorite memories at the facility is passing out Christmas gifts to the residents early in the morning and seeing their faces light up with joy.
Hanna grew up in Geneva, Ohio. Outside of work, she enjoys Dunkin’, hiking, gardening, road trips with her little family, being outside, and playing with her son. She also admits she likes cleaning! Hanna went to school for welding after graduation but ultimately followed her heart and chose nursing as her career path. She is the proud mom of a two-year-old son named Westin and has two dogs—Tiva the pitbull and Daisy the dachshund.
On her bucket list? Hanna hopes to one day travel to Japan, own a cow farm, and take an RV trip across the U.S. with her family.
Thank you, Hanna, for your heartfelt dedication, uplifting spirit, and for bringing joy and care to our residents every day. We’re so lucky to have you as part of our team!
