Congratulations to Tammy Fertig, a member of our Activities Department, for being recognized as Carington Park's October Employee of the Month! With just over a year of service at our premier facility, Tammy has already made a significant impact. She embodies the spirit of compassion and is always willing to lend a helping hand, which is why her colleagues and our residents adore her.



Tammy has 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Inspired by her family's involvement in healthcare and personal caregiving experiences, she is deeply committed to her work. Her daily motivation is to see her residents happy, and they often express their affection back by saying, "I love her! She makes me laugh!" Tammy's ability to bring joy and laughter into their lives is so special and an integral part of their daily happiness. One of her most cherished memories is taking a resident to a ballgame and witnessing his sheer happiness on that outing.

Tammy, originally from North Kingsville, enjoys caring for her children and loved ones. At home, she shares her life with a furry and finned family, including a dog, a cat, and even some fish, emphasizing her love for all creatures. Her adventurous spirit is evident in her bucket list goal: to travel to every state.

Tammy's dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to our skilled nursing facility. Thank you, Tammy, for your contributions that make our facility a special place to live and work.
